My story

I am originally from Los Angeles. I’ve been drawn to painting for as long as I can remember. That interest grew into something more serious over time, eventually leading me to study fine arts. In 2018 I moved to Portland, OR
In 2019, I adopted my soulmate, Zelda. She’s a silly little girl with a wonderful personality and has completely captured my heart. She’s the reason I began painting dog portraits in 2020 - what started as a way to capture her quickly became something much more meaningful.
Not long after, in 2021, I adopted Norman - a lovable curmudgeon who brought his own personality and charm into my life as well as onto my canvas.

I continued painting over the years, refining my process and style. In 2026, I joined ADX Studio in Portland and from there I decided to officially create ‘Nocturne Tea Studio’.
The name comes from a habit that’s become a ritual - late nights spent painting, drinking tea and listening to audiobooks. It’s a quiet focused space where each piece comes together.
I am deeply inspired by the love people have for their animals and I aim to celebrate that connection in the best way I know how - through painting
