I work across a range of traditional painting mediums, including watercolor, gouache, acrylic and oil. Each offers a different quality - from light and airy to rich and dramatic - and is selected based on the style and feel of the final piece
-
Each portrait can be created on a variety of surfaces, including stretched canvas, canvas board, fine art paper and prepared wood panels.
This allows for flexibility in how your piece is displayed - whether you’re looking for something ready to hang, easy to frame, or more natural and textural in feel.
If you have a specific vision or preference, I am happy to guide you in the process to select the best option for your space.

Clear, well lit photos will produce the best results. Natural lighting and a sharp close-up view of your pet's face is ideal. Sending multiple photos is always a great idea.
If your pet has a favorite pose, expression or a detail you’d especially like to highlight, feel free to share that as well

Pricing is based on a couple factors:
The size of the portrait
The number of animals in the portraits
How much detail/complexity is required
If you are not located in Portland OR we can discuss shipping options

Portraits begin at a minimum size of 8x10" - this allows me to get details in without sacrificing quality. Larger sizes are available depending on your preference and space.

Absolutely! While I have had a lot of dog models recently, I am always open to painting other animals as well. I'd love to work with any pet or creature you have in mind
